Message from the board:
Dear members,
We hope you have all had a good winter. Our Spring Fling shoot is just around the corner and we hope to see you all there. It will be held March 13 & 14. There will be concessions available through our club member Larry Brown, we are also hoping to have breakfast available as well. See attached flyer for more details.

Volunteers Needed:
We are looking for someone who would like to be in charge of a raffle committee for our shoots. The raffles are a great source of fun at our shoots for our members and guests. They also provide us with a vital source of revenue which helps keep our club the best archery club in the state. The job involves facilitating contributions from local companies and organizations, picking up prizes that are donated, promoting the sale of raffle tickets, and making sure raffle winners get their prizes. You will need to have access to the internet. You would be able to form a committee to help you. This is a great way to get your hours in and also help the club. If you are interested please email Tim Park ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

Volunteers are still needed for the Spring Fling shoot. It is the last chance to get your hours for the year. We will need help Friday afternoon to set up targets. Saturday and Sunday help to run the lines, maintain targets, and register shooters. And help cleaning up Sunday afternoon. Any time you can volunteer here would be great.

We are also going to have our annual range cleanup the weekend before our Ice Breaker shoot. The shoot is the weekend of April 17th, so we will be up there getting it in shape the weekend of the 10th. Please contact an officer of the club for more information and volunteer. A great way to get a start on your hours for the year.

Dues Due:
Reminder, if you need to pay your annual dues you have until May 15th to get them in. After that there will be a $10.00 late fee.

Club Events:
Once again Timpanogos archers will be having our great leagues this year. If you have not participated in these yet you are missing out on a great time. Non-members are welcome to shoot in the league so if you have friends who are not members bring them along.

In addition to the usual 3D and Field leagues, this year Timp archers will be having a FITA league. We are still working out details for this one but it should be very exciting. If you are not familiar with a FITA round you shoot targets at 30,50,70, and 90 meters (36 arrows at each distance). You will not be required to shoot all 4 distances each night. The FITA league will be 2 man (or woman) teams. We will have more information on the website and in future newsletters as the league’s get closer.

We are also going to be doing the Breakaway Friday’s again this summer. This means we will be opening our facilities to the public Friday afternoons to showcase our wonderful club and amazing facilities. Non members will be required to pay a small fee. So let your friends and family members who are not members know. More details forthcoming on this.

Next Meeting:
